　　The company has established Haiyang Technology Co., Ltd (Jiangsu) Research Institute Co., Ltd. and built four provincial-level R & D platforms such as the "Jiangsu Polyamide Functional New Materials Engineering Research Center" and the "China Fishery Chemical Fiber Materials R&D and Production Base". It is a cultivation enterprise for innovative leading enterprises in Jiangsu Province. The company conducts industry-university-research cooperation with universities suchas Sichuan University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Hunan University of Technology, Donghua University, and Su Zhou University, and has established the "Haiyang Technology Co., Ltd- Hunan University of Technology Polyamide R & D Center" in cooperation with Hunan University of Technology. The company has a leading domestic R & D test line for nylon new material polymerization, spinning, and dipped tyre cord fabric, as well as corresponding testing instruments. It has undertaken 4 national and provincial scientific and technological research projects. In 2024, the company won the "Nylon Innovation Award - New Product Development Award". It has 33 invention patents and 80 utility model patents.

　　In recent years, it has obtained 15 new products in Jiangsu Province, and many products have filled domestic gaps. Among them, the "In-Situ Polymerized Colored Nylon 6 Chip and Industrialization Project" won the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the China National Textile and Apparel Council. Its key core technology is internationally leading, with independent intellectual property rights, good spinnability, and no need for post-dyeing after weaving. It has more uniform color, no color difference, and higher color fastness. For every ton of nylon fabric produced using Haiyang black chips, compared with traditional dyed fabrics, it can reduce carbon by 9%, save energy by 7%, and save water by 42%. It has obtained the "GreenFiber Certification" certificate from the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association.
