　　Recently, presided over by Huang Hua, member of the Labor Protection Committee of the Previous Trade Union, the 5th Trade Union Member (Staff) Congress of Haiyang Technology Co., Ltd. was solemnly held in the conference hall on the 4th floor of the East Building, North Factory. The company’s leading group and 125 representatives from the frontline production and various branch trade unions attended the meeting. Through secret ballot, Liu Rongxi, Manager of the Company’s Technology Department, was elected Chairman of the New Trade Union Committee and Employee Representative Manager of the 3rd Board of Managers of the Company. Wu Xiulin, Manager of the Finance Department and former Manager of the Trade Union Fund Review Committee, was re-elected to the original position.

　　Time changes and leaves brilliant footprints. Wang Sufeng, Chairman of the Previous Trade Union, delivered a work report of the trade union, reviewing the work in nine aspects over the past four years, including "deepening labor competitions, cultivating skilled talents, and enriching cultural life", and putting forward existing problems and deficiencies. She proposed five suggestions for the future work of the trade union, such as "strengthening the foundation, deepening rights protection, and providing considerate care". Wu Xiulin, Manager of the Previous Fund Review Committee, presented the Report on the Review of Trade Union Funds, stating that the expenditure of the previous trade union funds was compliant, transparent, reasonable and legal.

　　The participating representatives held group discussions, gave positive comments and put forward suggestions. Chairman Wang Sufeng gave a brief reply. Subsequently, the meeting resumed, and in accordance with democratic procedures, the members of the New Trade Union Committee and the Fund Review Committee were elected. The first meeting of the New Trade Union Committee was held, electing Liu Rongxi as Chairman of the current Trade Union Committee and nominating candidates for Employee Representative Managers. The first meeting of the New Fund Review Committee was held, electing Wu Xiulin as Manager of the current Trade Union Fund Review Committee. Then, the congress held another secret ballot election, and Liu Rongxi was elected as the new Employee Representative Manager. Warm applause broke out when the staff announced the final election results.

The newly elected Trade Union Chairman Liu delivered a statement speech, expressing that he would work diligently in the future, give full play to the positive role of the trade union in communicating information, coordinating and protecting rights, and promote the harmonious development of the enterprise and its employees.

　　Chen Jianxin, General Manager of the Company, extended warm congratulations to the establishment of the New Trade Union Committee and the newly elected Trade Union Chairman, and spoke highly of the outstanding work and solid achievements of the Previous Trade Union. 　　Lu Xincai, Chairman and Party Secretary of the Company, delivered an enthusiastic speech. He said that the rapid development of the company and the substantial increase in employees’ income in recent years were inseparable from the active support of the trade union system and the joint efforts of all employees. He thanked the Previous Trade Union Committee and Fund Review Committee for their efforts, congratulated the election of the New Trade Union Chairman, Manager of the Fund Review Committee and Employee Representative Manager, and put forward three hopes:

　　First, closely focus on the production and operation objectives to carry out work, and enhance employees’ sense of ownership and responsibility;

　　Second, care about the improvement of employees’ working environment, salary and welfare, safeguard employees’ legitimate rights and interests, and create a fair, just and warm corporate culture atmosphere;

　　Third, actively organize various beneficial cultural and sports activities, support employees to give play to their strengths, enrich their amateur cultural life, and enhance the cohesion of employees.

Finally, he spoke highly of the work of Wang Sufeng, Chairman of the Previous Trade Union, who retired from her post due to age, praising her noble moral character, strong personal ability and loyalty to the enterprise, and thanked her for her contributions to the company!
