When the final whistle blew at Xilang Sports Basketball Gymnasium, applause and cheers converged into the warmest current in the winter. On December 21, 2025, Haiyang Technology's "Evergreen Cup" Employee Basketball Tournament successfully concluded with three consecutive loud cheers of "As bright as the sun over the sea, thriving day by day". The tournament is not only a competition of basketball skills, but also a wonderful collision of youth vitality and fighting spirit, showing the energy, new image and beautiful expectations of Haiyang employees.

Passionate Battles, Peak Showdown Ignites the Stadium

This is the first internal basketball game in Haiyang Technology's history, and it was extremely brilliant. The tournament gathered 4 teams: Haiyang Team, Tongxin Team, Nylon Team 1 and Nylon Team 2, which went through two intense rounds of preliminary and final matches with high energy throughout.

In the preliminary round on the 20th, Haiyang Team defeated Tongxin Team with a score of 22 to 19, and Nylon Team 1 defeated Nylon Team 2 with 36 to 18.

The championship and runner-up competition in the final on the 21st was wonderful. Both teams competed actively at the beginning. The shooting guard dribbled and broke through, while the centers grabbed rebounds and shot in one go. Four employees from Haiyang Team's spinning workshop played a key role, including Yu Zehao, a new employee who just joined the factory, who performed well. Zhai Yihua, No. 5, is not tall but has participated in marathons and is agile in dodging. He scored two 3-pointers in the preliminary round and still made one 3-pointer in the final despite being closely guarded. Captain Xie Rongsong had accurate shooting and fast offensive and defensive transitions, leading the team to fight tenaciously. However, Nylon Team 1 was stronger. Its members were tall and slender. Eight years ago, Captain Cheng Hui established an amateur team of more than 20 people who trained for a longer time on a regular basis.

Kong Zhipeng, No. 32, had good jumping ability and accurate shooting; Cai Xiangdong had good physical strength and strong marking ability, and kept an eye on Zhai Yihua in the final; Li Haoyang was good at fast breaks and made long passes quickly and accurately. The team had an overall speed advantage and won the championship with 38 to 15, while Haiyang Team won the runner-up.

The competition for the third place was also full of highlights. Li Dawei, the small forward of Nylon Team 2, had accurate shooting and strong long-pass ability; Xie Xiao, the point guard, was flexible in offense and defense. Wang Zhijun, No. 10 of Tongxin Team, had a high shooting and free-throw percentage, and his personal ability became a scoring advantage. The two teams were closely matched in score, showing solid basic skills and fast offensive and defensive transitions. Finally, Nylon Team 2 won the third place with 26 to 20.

Exquisite team cooperation, tenacious rebound contests and decisive outside shooting—every round touched the hearts of the audience on the sidelines. Cheers and chants echoed in the stadium, full of youthful passion and team cohesion.

Leaders of Haiyang Technology supported the event warmly throughout, adding full motivation to the stadium. At the opening ceremony, Deputy General Manager Ji Zengming delivered an enthusiastic speech on behalf of the company, stating that this competition is an excellent stage for Haiyang employees to forge ahead with determination, strive for excellence and show their spiritual outlook.

On the day of the final, Chairman Lu Xincai and Deputy General Manager Ji Zengming watched the game throughout and presented trophies to the winning teams.
